Korogi (cricket) Bridge
It is a bridge fully made of Japanese cypress conveying the atmosphere of Japan by the colors of seasons, which is a typical scenic spot of Yamanaka hot-spring.

Kayano Osugi (Japanese cedar)
The age of the sacred tree is estimated at about 2,300 years soaring in the Sugawara Shrine, and its girth is 11m that can be encircled by seven adults holding hands. With a height of 52m, it is a national natural treasure.

Ioji Temple
It is a buddhist temple in the Yakushi Mountain with the two-storied pagoda of the Vermilion-lacquered by Gyoki. Yakushinyorai (Buddha) is revered as a hot-spring protection temple and is familiar as alias of "Oyakushi-san". It has a treasure pavilion holding the standing stature of ceramic "Kongodoshi" , which is a national important cultural property, and Basho's forgetting cane, etc.

Kiku (chrysanthemum) Spa
The communal bath was made after the hot-spring had been discovered. Japanese inns used to stand side by side around the hot-spring in old times and visitors at the spa enjoyed the smell and effect of the chrysanthemum spa.

Kurotani Hashi (Bridge)

Mugenan

It was the study of Yokoyama family owned by the chief retainer of Kaga domain in Kanazawa city and reconstructed in this place. It is told that it was the superfine building used highest level of a wooden technology in the era of end of Meiji. It is a treasured technology of building modern study succeeded from the tradition of study in samurai residence of "Seisonkaku" which is the important cultural property of Kanazawa, and valuable antiquities are exhibited.

Basho Museum
The characteristic of the museum is the old architecture of inn in the middle of Meiji era, where you can enjoy its beautiful garden over having tea. Matsuo Basho's material and the works of Yamanaka lacquer wares are exhibited.

Basho Temple
It is a temple that enshrines the monument of Basho's haiku, meaning of which is "Without having chrysanthemum dews, the spring of Yamanaka Spa gives you the perpetual youth."

Yamanakaza

It is a graceful feminal building that opened on November 2, 2002 at the fountainhead of Yamanaka Spa. Splendid lacquer ware of Yamanaka are exhibited in a lobby such as lacquering zelkova pillars and gold-relief on the compartment ceiling, which must attract you. The spacious ladies' bath is provided with 41 water outlets with the bath of one meter depth, where you can relax and enjoy bathing. After a bath, you can appreciate the dance "Four seasons of Yamanaka Bushi" is performed by geisha. The dance and songs presented on the Japanese cypress stage are the same repertoires as played in the rooms floored with tatami mats.
